Soap & Glory - The Breakfast Scrub.

Whilst in Boots the other day I realised I had a voucher to use, when you spent £15 you were getting a certain amount of points.  I decided that I needed a body scrub, for use before fake tanning and just whenever I needed to use it.  I'm not sure if I was going around Boots with my eyes shut or not, but this Soap and Glory 'The Breakfast Scrub' was the only one I could find.  After reading the ingredients, I was glad I came across this product.  The combination of bananas, honey, almonds and oats makes your skin feel so soft and smooth.  However that is not the best thing about it, the best thing is that it smells like maple syrup..Yum!  It's like you are eating pancakes drizzled in it.. (and there I am going off on a food tangent).  I would highly recommend this scrub and others would to, I'm guessing seeing as it has won several awards..

Hand and Foot Care.

Hey Everyone!  Hand and Foot cream is something that you can use all year round to keep your hands and feet in tip top condition.  Last week I started using Shea Butter Hand and Foot Cream by L'Occitane, it's safe to say I'm in love.

L'Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream

I use this cream morning and night to keep my hands feeling soft 24/7.  It is made with honey, almond extracts, and coconut oil blended with Shea butter, which leaves my hands feeling soft and smooth.  Another thing I love about this is that when you apply it is non greasy, one thing I cannot stand is oily hand cream that never seems to sink into the skin.  I opted for this hand cream as it has won many awards, which just shows how great it really is.

L'Occitane Shea Butter Foot Cream

I apply this foot cream at night, just before bed as I feel it can moisturise my feet over night (Tip: Once you have applied your foot cream, put on a pair of socks to lock in the moisture).  This product contains  Shea butter, antiseptic, lavender and an anti-inflammatory extract to help reduce red and irritated feet.  If you are someone who has a job working on their feet all day, then this is great for tired feet as it relieves them.  This product was named Best Foot Cream by Instyle in the best beauty buys of 2011 & 2012.

Overall I would recommend both these products as they leave hands and feet feeling silky smooth, to top it all off they both have a great fragrance too.

Favourite Style and Beauty Books.

Hey Everyone!  Sorry I haven't blogged much lately, I've got a new job, so I've had inductions and what not.  I thought I would blog about my favourite Style and Beauty books I read when I need inspiration for an outfit or make up ideas.

I absolutely love this book by Whitney.  In this book she covers Style, Home Style, Parties, Dating and Exercising, which are all perfect areas to cover for any girl.  It's also great to read about her life and how she got into being a designer.

As you may be able to tell by my posts, I am obsessed with Bobbi Brown.  This book is basically a make up bible.  It introduces you to the products and shows you how to use them in different make up looks.  It is a great book for any beginner or make up pro looking for ideas.

Well it's no shock that Lauren Conrad's books are here..!  First of all she released her Style book in which Lauren shares her Fashion thoughts, outfit ideas and hair inspiration.  Lauren then released her Beauty book in which she has tutorials for applying make up, her make up stories, make up through the ages and hair ideas.

I would totally recommend all these books as they are full of advice and helpful tips.  They can be read again and again.

Clarins Purchase.

Whilst browsing all the beauty counters in John Lewis I spotted this product at Clarins.  It is from the Spring Make up Collection that they have released recently.  Palette Eclat Face & Blush Powder is a trio of complexion boosting shades which leave your face matte, along with a natural luminous finish.  The palette is £30 which is quite expensive for a face powder, however as per usual I can never help myself when something catches my eye.  I am yet to use this product, however I have high hopes that it will live up to it's promises.

Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara Review.

I'm always on the look out for a mascara that's going to impress me enough, that I can say that it is my favourite, and I think I've found the one.  After reading reviews about this mascara, I went into Boots to purchase it to find out it was on offer £7.99 down to £5.99 which was even better.  As the word accelerator is used in the name, it's obvious to say that the mascaras aim is to accelerate your lashes.  I was sceptical at first as there are so many mascaras that promise to give your lashes more volume, however many don't live up to this.  This mascara is by far the best I have used.  My lashes top and bottom are full with extra volume that lasts the whole day.  I definitely will be purchasing this mascara again as it is simply great.
